Castle Rock brought enough offense to win a baseball game but couldn’t keep up with Cascade Christian on the gridiron, Saturday. After manifesting an odd 4-3 lead before the intermission, the Rockets went on to suffer a 45-11 loss in the opening round of the playoffs at Sunset Stadium in Sumner.

It was such a strange halftime score that some media outlets were including disclaimers that it was *not* in fact a typo.

“I’ve never seen it before in my life,” Castle Rock coach Cody Warner said.
