Rose, Dunagan carry Comets to trophy town

Naselle continued its scorching path through its competition on Saturday with a three-set victory over Taholah in the 1B District IV championship match at Raymond High School. The Comets did not lose a set in the entire tournamen, and took the title tilt by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-19.

“What a sweep. These girls continue to amaze us,” Naselle head coach Bekah Wirkkalah said. “Not losing a single set in Districts — they worked as a team, moved the ball around and stayed consistent.”
