BAKAMUS GYMNASIUM – Anyone who’s watched Hoosiers knows that the hoops at a big school are the exact same height as hoops at a small school. However, the Wahkiakum boys basketball team was no doubt considering pulling out a ladder and measuring the circumference of the cylinder after a rough night shooting the basketball resulted in a 55-49 loss to Summit Classical Christian, Friday, in the Regional round-of-16 for the 1B State Tournament at Mark Morris High School.

“We have shooters that shoot all season long and unfortunately that was not the case tonight,” Wahkiakum coach Rob Garrett said. “I thought it was more so just an inability to get a rhythm, get that flow going in the game..I think it was a little bit of a mental thing and we were unable to push over the top, unfortunately.”
