The R.A. Long boys soccer team took its sweet time getting getting warmed up after a long trek across Washington. But the Lumberjacks finally got around to business with two goals in the final 11 minutes of action to post a 2-0 win over Grandview on the Greyhounds’ home turf in the opening round of the 2A State Tournament, Wednesday, at Rich Leenhouts Stadium.
It was the Lumberjacks’ first victory in a State contest in more than two decades..
