High School Boys Soccer

The R.A. Long boys soccer team made a valiant charge down the stretch but was unable to get out of the red in a 5-2 loss to No. 1 ranked Bainbridge in the 2A State Tournament, Saturday, May 24, at Bainbridge High School.

It was an ill-fitting end to a successful season for the Lumberjacks, but the contest didn’t start out like a sad story. In fact, R.A. Long jumped out to an early lead that only served to give the result an even more bitter aftertaste.
