Riverhawks still eying league title
Since suffering its first league loss, and just its second defeat of the season, the Toledo boys basketball team has quickly and quietly put together another win streak in order to remain in the hunt for a Central 2B League title.
The Riverhawks most recent success was a victory over Winlock in the Battle of the Cowlitz on the other side of I-5, and the Cheese Town gang has also taken out Morton-White Pass, Mossyrock, and Onalaska in rapid succession and assorted fashion.
Along the way, Cooper Fallon collected his 1,000th career rebound for the Riverhawks. Toledo’s senior center is already the all-time shot blocker, and surpassed 1,000 career points earlier this season, and on Monday he surpassed his father/coach, Grady Fallon, on Toledo’s all-time scoring list.
“Hopefully we’re still fine tuning things as we get closer to the playoffs,” Coach Fallon said.
