CASTLE ROCK — A season in which the Toutle Lake girls had State level. and even top-10, aspirations for much of December and January came to an abrupt end halfway through February in the 2B District IV girls basketball tournament with a 53-40 loss to Mossyrock, Saturday, at LeBaron Court.

“The girls played hard. It just wasn’t our day, basically,” Toutle Lake coach Daren Dean said.
