Lumberjills split Spuds, sunk by Bay
R.A. Long opened the week with a 1846-1501 win over Ridgefield on Monday at Triangle Bowling Alley in 2A Greater St. Helens League play.
“Great to bounce back after a loss with a nice win,” R.A. Long coach Shane Berridge said. “The girls did an awesome job putting it behind them and coming out ready to compete today.”
Bailee Smith led the Jills with a series score of 380 that included a game-high tally of 181 in the second contest of the night.
“Sophomore Bailee Smith has made a huge leap forward this year and is really looking like someone who will anchor the team for the next few years,” Berridge noted.
And there were other positive signs for the future of R.A. Long bowling for those who were paying attention last week.
