Trophy Chasing – No. 1 ranked LCC Red Devils look to hang another banner at Story Field

After finishing the regular-season as one of two teams in the Northwest Athletic Conference with at least 40 victories, the top-ranked Lower Columbia College Red Devils are striving to return to the title game of the NWAC Baseball Championships and claim their first title since 2023.
The double-elimination tournament, which begins Thursday on David Story Field at LCC, features the top eight teams from around the conference including defending champion Linn-Benton. The Red Devils open with Edmonds at 7:35 p.m. on Thursday.
Pierce and Everett kick-off the tournament at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, followed by Wenatchee Valley and Linn-Benton at 12:35 p.m., and Lane meeting Spokane at 4:35 p.m.
The tournament continues through the championship game at noon Monday.
LCC (40-10) won the West Region, finishing six games ahead of runner-up Pierce.
