CASTLE ROCK — The Kalama boys basketball team was able to keep pace in the race for second place in the 1A Trico League on Thursday with a 78-55 win on the road over Castle Rock at LeBaron Court.

The victory extended the Chinooks’ win streak to three games, and left them in a three-way tie for second place with King’s Way and La Center.

Meanwhile, the Rockets are still searching for their first league win at the halfway point on their Trico docket.
