2A Prep Boys Basketball / Report

CHEHALIS – The Mark Morris boys basketball team was late to arrive for their 2A District IV playoff date Thursday night, and when the Monarchs finally showed up they looked a whole lot different than the last time they faced W.F. West back in December.

Four Monarchs from the regular season varsity roster were left off the postseason roster, marking the fourth game in a row that MM had numerous players out of the lineup while an investigation into alleged hazing and sexual misconduct looms over the program..

With a cast of underclassmen once again called upon to fill in under duress, Mark Morris was unable to keep up in the second half of a season-ending 62-46 loss to the Bearcats.
