Prep Boys Basketball / Report

The Woodland boys basketball team controlled the boards and let its players play on the way to a 76-50 road win at Centralia to open the 2025-26 season, Tuesday, on Ron Brown Court.

The contest was a homecoming for Woodland head coach Justin Gabbard who played his high school ball for the Tigers under the direction of legendary Coach Brown.

“(We) got the jitters out, Identified some strengths and weaknesses, and enjoyed a win,” Coach Gabbard said after picking up the win at his alma mater.
