Speranza’s brace leads Beavs over Monarchs

The Woodland boys soccer team was able to go into spring break with a pep in its step after shutting out Mark Morris 3-0 on Thursday, April 2, at Woodland High School.

In fact, several Beavers and Monarchs were already stretching their legs before the final whistle.

“Both teams had a number of players gone from our starting 11,” Woodland head coach Dave Tallbut said. “We started the match slow seeming like we were already on spring break.”
