TACOMA DOME — The opening rounds of the 2A, 1A, and 2B/1B boys brackets at the Mat Classic XXXVII state wrestling championships got underway on Friday at the Tacoma Dome and local teams were represented on nearly every corner of the quilted mats

While the 3A and 4A tournaments opened up on Thursday and handed out medals on Friday, the smaller schools had to wait their turn to hit the ground grappling.
