Team: Castle Rock Rockets

Helmets: Red

Last Year’s Record: 6-4 (4-3 league)

  • Fifth place in 1A Trico. Lost 45-11 at Cascade Christian first round of the playoffs.

CASTLE ROCK—The strategy in North Cowlitz County in the heart of the Blast Zone will not be much of a secret this autumn. After all, when one has five seniors starting on the offensive line, they might be keen to try and take advantage.

That’s why third-year Castle Rock head coach Cody Warner put it simply: The Rockets will put the ball in the air when they must, but not for no reason.

Instead, the strategy will be to try and get eight to 10 carries apiece for its trio of running backs behind probably the most experienced offensive line in the 1A Trico League trying to improve on its 6-4 finish in 2024.
