Monarchs keep on sharing the spotlight

In their final contest of the 2025 portion of the schedule the Mark Morris girls basketball team picked up an 83-38 non-league win on the road at Aberdeen on Saturday, Dec. 27. And the Monarchs did it by doing what too many aristocracies throughout history have been loath to do – they’ve been sharing responsibilities and the fruits of their combined labors.

“Very balanced game with four players in double figures to help make up for the absences of Mikaila Warfield,” MM head coach Sean Atkins said.

That victory gave the Monarchs six wins in their last seven tries, with the lone defeat coming on the road against 4A powerhouse Camas.
