Prep Girls Basketball / Roundup

High school girls basketball season is officially upon us and things look a little different than the last time varsity sneakers were squeaking inside local gymnasiums.

For starters, the two-time All-Area player of the year from Woodland has a new address. And the changes aren’t limited to players with numbers on the roster. There’s a new head coach in Ilwaco and an old head coach is new again in Toledo. Meanwhile, Winlock rehired the coach it previously fired, only to cancel the season before the first week of practice was completed due to poor turnout.
