Watkins, Lassies fend off Plainsmen in league tilt

The Kelso girls soccer team remained undefeated in 3A Greater St. Helens League play with a 4-2 win over Evergreen, Tuesday, on Schroeder Field.

Macy Watkins scored a goal and assisted on another for the Lassies, while Mikalah Boucher tallied a pair of assists in the victory.

Kelso was able to take a 3-1 lead into the intermission, with all four goal arriving in a five minute span. Three of those scores were tallied over just two minutes of action, including a pair of goals in the 17th minute alone.
