Longtime Woodland soccer fans will recognize a familiar face back on the sideline this season. That’s because Jeff Flanagan has resumed his role as head coach for the Beavers girls soccer squad, after previously holding that title from 1999-2013.

And last Thursday, those Beavers added to Flanagan’s all-time win tally with a 6-0 victory at La Center in the Lewis River Cup.

Carly Coltrin opened the scoring about 10 minutes into the contest and finished the match with a pair of goals and an assist. Her first goal was assisted by Riley Jones, who would go on to post a goal of her own in the second half.
