Prep Girls Soccer / Report

The Toledo girls soccer team was about a dozen minutes away from celebrating on someone else’s pitch and advancing to the quarterfinal round of the 1B/2B State Tournament. Instead, the Riverhawks watched a one goal lead turn into a 2-1 season-ending loss at Highland.

“For 68 minutes we were up and dominating,” Toledo head coach Horst Malunat said. “We just made a couple of bobbles with the ball and they took advantage at the end.”
