The No. 6-ranked Clatskanie softball team has all of a sudden dropped back-to-back games for the first time since the opening week of the season.

Last Wednesday the Tigers took on top-15 ranked 4A Stayton in a midweek non-league matchup and wound up on the wrong end of a 15-5 outcome. Despite the final score, the Tigers showed plenty of fight against strong competition.
