Tigers extend win streak to five games

Clatskanie turned in a dominant four-game showing at the Lady Buff Classic, rolling to a 4-0 record and outscoring opponents 64-9 over two days of action on the diamond.

The Tigers opened Monday with a 20-0 rout of (4A) Madras in three innings, then followed it with a 17-3 win over (2A/1A) Lost River in four innings. On Tuesday, Clatskanie beat (3A) La Pine 11-5 before capping the tournament with a 16-1 victory over (3A) Rogue River, in three innings.

Those victories put Clatskanie on a five-game win streak after starting the season with a pair of losses.
