2A Prep Softball / Report

7th Ave. Park – The Mark Morris softball team broke the game open in the first inning and rode Makenzie Henthorn’s dominant outing in the circle to an 11-0 win over Woodland in just five innings of 2A Greater St. Helens League play, Monday, at 7th Ave. Park.

Henthorn was in command from the start, striking out 13 while allowing just one hit and one walk over five scoreless innings before the mercy rule ended the league opener early.

“My spin was really tight, and I stayed relaxed out there,” Henthorn said.
