Grafton, Lassies give Battle Ground the business

The Kelso volleyball team went to Battle Ground and hammered out a decisive sweep over Battle Ground in a 3A/4A Greater St. Helens League affair, Thursday, by scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-6.

Royal Grafton led the Lassies with 10 kills and a dozen digs, while Sheena McGregor added eight kills and five stuff blocks in their final tuneup before matches matter for playoff standings.

“Royal Grafton was unstoppable on both sides of the ball,” Kelso head coach Michelle Mury said. “Sheena McGregor dominated at the net… setting the tone defensively.”
