Amrine and Moe lift Lassies on K-Kourt

The Kelso volleyball team picked up a big win at home with a sweep over Union, Tuesday, in a 3A/4A Greater St. Helens League crossover contest on the Big-K Court. The Lassies picked up the victory with scores of 25-22, 25-16 and 25-23.

Izzy Moe and Maali Amrine were essential to that effort, with both players posting a team-high 18 digs for the hosts.

“Izzy Moe was rock-solid in the back row,” Kelso head coach Michelle Mury said. “(She led) with calm composure and steady play that kept (our) defense locked in.”
