It doesn’t seem to matter who, or where the Cheese Town spikers play – they’re going to win.

On Monday the Toledo volleyball team made it eight straight victories to start the season with a sweep over Napavine at home on Murdock Court to open Central 2B League play. The Riverhawks took that match by scores of 25-17, 25-14 and 27-25.

“The final set was a battle with Napavine digging up most of what we hit at them,” Toledo head coach Kelli Larson said. “We struggled with our serves that set, missing nine.”
