Riverhawks lockdown No. 4 seed in C2BL

The Toledo volleyball team had the hottest of starts to the season, and then decided to do everything the hard way from there. This week alone the Riverhawks won a pair of five-set thrillers in order to leapfrog into fourth place in the final Central 2B League standings.

After what head coach Kelli Larson described as “a very slow start” on Wednesday the Riverhawks eventually got around to dispatching Morton-White Pass at home on Murdock Court by scores of 16-25, 25-19, 15-25, 25-17 and 15-8.
