TACOMA — The Castle Rock Rockets were the leaders of the pack for our local contingent of small school at the Tacoma Dome this winter, which is not much of a shock.

As per usual, there were multiple Rockets to watch in the finals, with one recognizable champion in the mix. The Rock placed fifth as a team at Mat Classic XXXVII.

Kalama, Toledo and Woodland were also represented in the medal rounds, and there were even more schools from the headwaters to the coast still hanging around The Dome when the doors opened for the final day of the season. However, precious few were still around when it was time to turn out the lights
