Kelso girls repeat as State champions

The Kelso girls wrestling team won its second straight state championship at the Mat Classic on Feb. 19 and 20 at the Tacoma Dome.

The Hilanders had 266.5 team points, more than 50 points ahead of second place Hermiston.

Kelso freshman Johanna Gregg was the lone individual state champion at 105 pounds, defeating Sedro-Wooley’s Isabelle Goedl 16-2 in the championship match.
