It was all sunshine and smiles for the fleet-footed Koynn Williamdyke during his day at the John Knight Twilight track meet hosted by Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
Williamdyke, an R.A. Long grad and sophomore at Clark College, won three running events and placed fifth in another to have a solid showing for the Penguins.
Williamdyke won the men’s 400 in a season-best 48.85 seconds, and took the 400 hurdles in a season-best 53.5. He joined Max Ensinger, Jaeden Freitas, and Ian Ebinger to win the 4x400 relay in 3 minutes, 23.33 seconds, and teamed with Chris Garnett, Julian Johnson, and Ebinger to place fifth in the 4x100 relay in 42.86.
