Two former Lower Columbia College men's basketball players are headed to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championships with Rocky Mountain College of Montana.

Seniors Sherman Royal III and Carter McCoy, who have been staples with the Battlin' Bears this season, combined for 13 points in a 79-77 win over Montana State-Northern in the championship game of the Frontier Conference Tournament. Royal III had nine points and two rebounds, and McCoy added four points, nine rebounds and two assists.
