Mark Morris grad Emily Foytack and the Linfield University softball team is headed to the NCAA Division III Super Regionals for the fourth straight season after winning its regional tournament held at Linfield.

Linfield went 3-0 at the four-team regional, with all three victories coming in five innings as a result of the eight-run mercy rule.

In the title game, the Wildcats pounded Transylvania University 12-1 in five innings. In the game, Foytack went 2-for-3 including a run-scoring single in the second inning. In a 22-0 drubbing of Marymount of Virginia in five innings, Foytack went 3-3 with an RBI single as part of a 12-run first inning.
