Men’s College Basketball

For the second-straight week, Oregon Tech’s Dakota Reber was named McDonald’s-Urban Edge Network Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the conference office.

The senior forward, formerly from Lower Columbia College, helped the Hustlin’ Owls complete a perfect 4-0 homestand with wins over Bushnell and Corban to keep the squad tied atop the CCC standings.

Reber scored 20 points with a career-high 15 rebounds in a 79-63 win over Bushnell for his third-straight double-double. He added 21 points and nine rebounds in an 82-69 triumph over Corban. He became the first Tech player since the 2018-19 season to record 4-straight 20-point games.

In a 108-64 pounding of Walla Walla University, Reber knocked-down a team-high 17 points, grabbed four rebounds and made a team-high three steals. He also had 14 points and pulled five caroms in a 70-66 win over Lewis-Clark State.
