One indoor track meet into the winter season, and Kelso’s Josie Settle has already found her groove. A sophomore at Idaho State University, Settle notched three top-three finishes at the Idaho State Winter Open held in Pocatello.

Settle scampered to a second place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.82 seconds, ran the third leg in the 4x400-meter relay with Annalise Ririe, Daphne Cordioli and Oaklie Hebdon in 3 minutes, 59.43 seconds, and was third in the long jump with a leap of 18-feet-4.
