CASTLE ROCK — The Rockets suffered a serious setback in their quest for a playoff spot, Friday, in a 13-6 loss to King’s Way.

Wiley Bolar scored on for Castle Rock on a four-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but that was all the offense the hosts could muster in the late afternoon affair.

The Knights scored a touchdown of their own in the second quarter on a 21-yard run, and led 7-6 at halftime. King’s Way added a 14-yard touchdown pass from Owen Paulsen in the third quarter for insurance purposes.

The 1A Trico League loss leaves Castle Rock in must-win territory entering Week 9. The Rockets will play at Kalama on Thursday at 7 p.m.
