Mark Morris picked up a crucial 25-7 win over Hockinson on Friday night at Longview Memorial Stadium in 2A Greater St. Helens League play.

The victory leaves a path to the playoffs open for the Monarchs with just two weeks remaining in the regular season. The evening was also marked by homecoming festivities, with Zeppelin Edgell named king and Abigail Bailey named queen.

On the field, the Monarchs were under the direction of Coach Peck. But this time it was Larry patrolling the sideline as his son Mike served a one-game suspension after being ejected in Week 6.
