YAKIMA — The Monarchs were on life support several times Wednesday in their Round-of-12 contest against Sequim in the 2A State Boys Basketball Tournament at the SunDome. In a loser-out game, Mark Morris fell behind by a dozen points in the first quarter, rallied to tie before halftime, then fell behind by 11 once again in the third period.

But all of that bak and forth simply served to set up a relieving finish for the Monarchs in a 69-59 victory over the Wolves.
