MONARCH PARK — The Mark Morris baseball team picked up a 4-1 win over Woodland on Friday on their home field at Monarch Park.

The Monarchs broke open a scoreless tie with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. The hosts added another run in the fifth and then put faith in their defense to lock down the victory.
