THE LUMBERYARD — The R.A. Long baseball team put together a complete performance with the leather and the sticks on the way to a 6-0 over Woodland in 2A Greater St. Helens League play, Wednesday, April 23, at The Lumberyard.

The Lumberjacks plated a pair of runs in the second inning, which wound up being all they would need.

“I feel like we are finally getting into a consistent rhythm with our hitting and defense,” R.A. Long skipper Ryan Littlefield said. “We have a pretty tough 1-9 who all can contribute and have tough at bats. (And) we have a good feeling of confidence regarding who plays each position when certain players pitch now.”
