The Lumberjacks brought in some a fresh crop of talent all the way from The Palouse over the weekend and nearly harvested themselves a win, or at least a tie, at Longview Memorial Stadium. Instead, R.A. Long had to settle for a near-miss, or a “quality loss” as the talking heads like to say, in a 3-2 defeat at the hands and feet of Pullman.

“Despite controlling possession for most of the match, we dropped a tough one (Saturday),” RAL coach Max Anderson said.
