The R.A. Long boys soccer team had its hands full in the opening round of the 2A District IV Tournament on Saturday, but managed to escape Aberdeen with a 2-1 win over the hometown Bobcats at Stewart Field.
“Despite playing some of our best soccer of the season, Aberdeen pushed us to the brink,” R.A. Long head coach Max Anderson said.
