Speranza, Martinez send Beavers over MM

Logan Speranza and Josue Martinez each notched a brace for the Beavers in a 5-0 win over Mark Morris in 2A Greater St. Helens League play, Thursday night, at Longview Memorial Stadium.

Woodland maintained possession for the vast majority of the contest, but the loss still left the Monarchs pining for opportunities squandered.

“I have been really short on depth this season,” MM head coach Luis Garcia said. “Yesterday’s game we played with only one sub. No excuses. We have to get better and put away our opportunities in front of goal.”
