The all new updated version of the Monarchs was advertised as an all-pass all-the-time sort of operation. But when Mark Morris needed to move the chains and bend its opponent to its will it did something else instead — it ran the football.
That approach paid off for these mightier Monarchs in a 26-14 win over Hudson’s Bay on Friday night at Longview Memorial Stadium. The victory gave Mark Morris its second league victory of the season, and just as importantly, proved that the boys in Columbia blue can adjust on the fly as needed.
