The Rockets responded exactly how you’d hope following a tough outing last week. Led by three total touchdowns from senior quarterback Trevor Rogen, Castle Rock used a huge second quarter to take absolute control Friday night in a 1A Trico League contest at home.
Owen Langdon opened the scoring for Castle Rock with a 30-yard run after a scoreless first quarter. The senior finished with 79 yards on just six carries and the touchdown.
Jacob Lafever followed with a 33-yard TD run not long after. Lafever had 65 yards on five carries and the touchdown in the win.
“Both Langdon and Lafever are critical pieces. Without them we are much less explosive,” Castle Rock coach Cody Warner said.
