Kelso comes together to top Tumwater

The Kelso girls basketball team must have come together to make a New Years resolution over the break — win together, whatever it takes. And Friday the Lassies made good on their promise to themselves with a 42-38 victory over the T-Birds in Tumwater.

“Our girls came out tonight and delivered one of the best team performances of the season,” Kelso coach Andrew Johnson said. “From the start, we played together, moved the ball well and showcased incredibly balanced scoring. Everyone stepped up and contributed, which was great to see.”
