The Kelso girls soccer team wrapped up a second place finish in the 3A Greater St. Helens League and completed the regular season in style, Thursday, with a 5-0 win over Heritage on the turf at Schroeder Field.
Mikayla Boucher posted three goals for the hosts, all of them coming in the second half. Boucher’s first score came in the 58th minute and put the Hilanders up 2-0. She followed up in the 74th minute to make the score 4-0 and capped her outburst in stoppage time to punctuate the night.
Kelso’s Karsyn Ross opened the scoring in the 28th minute and gave the Hilanders a 1-0 lead at halftime. It was her 28th goal of the season.
Cori Doehne also notched a nice goal for Kelso when she rattled the net in the 69th minute.
