MM’s MacArthur, RAL’s Anderson and Khlee advance to Districts
The Monarchs and Lumberjills did not have a champion in the mix at the 2A Greater St. Helens League Championships this week, but both Longview schools did manage to advance competitors to the next round.
In singles action Mark Morris saw Emme MacArthur earn a berth to the 2A District IV Tournament by placing third. In doubles play, R.A. Long’s tandem of Alice Anderson and Lyla Khlee extended their season by placing fourth.
The tournament began last Saturday at R.A. Long, and continued this week at Ridgefield, wrapping up on Thursday with a whole lot of purple and gold on the hard courts in Potato Town.
