No time to rest for MM’s Knapp
Kana Knapp of Mark Morris finished in second place with a total of 162 in the 2A District IV Tournament at Tumwater Valley Golf Course. She shot a 79 in the second round in order to claim the runner-up spot.
Ellie Johnson of Black Hills won the tournament with a two-day score of 153. She carded a 76 in Round 2 in order to run away with the title. Black Hills also won the team trophy.
The cut to advance to the state tournament wound up being 208, with 19 golfers advancing out of Districts.
