High School Track and Field

State track championships got underway for Blast Zone-area teams Thursday, with several field and distance championships secured while final race spots were notched elsewhere.

A look around the Pacific Northwest reveals how each of the area’s peak athletes performed on the first of the three-day events in Tacoma, Yakima, Washington, along with Eugene, Oregon.
