High School Track and Field

YAKIMA—Many athletes around the Pacific Northwest no doubt entered team dinner restaurants a few shades pinker in the skin Friday after the blazing sun bore down with a season-best showing on the thermometer during the second day of State Track and Field Championship meets in Tacoma, The Palm Springs of Washington (see: Yakima), and Eugene way on down in Oregon Country.
